I Love My Olay Professional Pro X Cleansing System

I would like to start off with the fact that I would like to give this Olay Professional Pro X Cleansing System a 5 star rating. The Scent of Ambrette Seed for Second Note in Perfume

I hadn't known so much about Ambrette seed in the past; I smelled it once, and it reminded me of a scent of the Breast Actives cream, but I'm not quite sure. I just bought a bottle of the CO2, and was very surprised by its smell. I have never smelled musk, so I don't know how to imagine a scent that is referred to as similar to musk. But I was imagining something deep, strong, powerful. That is not how the above mentioned CO2 smells. Rather it smells simply fatty; just like smelling a vegetable fat and nutty, if you will. It has got quite a strong character; it's thick, cloudy and seems to change consistency with the temperature.
Is this right? Is the CO2 drastically different than the oil?

Is it like when you put on the essential oil from DHC Skincare? And, I'm guessing that with the CO2, you will need even more so than the oil. It is also essential that I add 10% alcohol for preservation.
Here's the truth; Ambrette CO2 will smell fatty and nutty out of the bottle, it reminds me of peanuts actually, but it will change drastically in character on the skin or even on a scent strip. It will smell like musk oil. So don't worry. I've never tried the essential oil or the absolute; however, Ambrette seed doesn't really develop its scent until you apply it to the skin. I remember being really disappointed with the first bottle I bought. I left it on the shelf for ages. And then one day I took it out and applied it to my skin when I was trying other things. Oh my goodness, what a revelation!

It's almost like a secret scent. It's not very strong even then, but definitely musky!
This is definitely one of the top scents I'll be going for as the base note from now on.
